Hello
Happy June! Well, as promised, this week's lesson is on a Bee Gee's song. It was hard to choose from the many great ones but I decided on "Run To Me". No, it's not from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack but it's a beautiful ballad. Here is a link to the Bee Gee's singing this song. By the way, you can click on the links to all of their most popular songs on this site too! An extra bonus.
Listen to the Song
These are the chords you need to know to play "Run To Me".
A (A-C#-E)
G (G-B-D)
F#m (F#-A-C#)
D (D-F#-A)
Bm (B-D-F#)
E (E-G#-B)
C#m (C#-E-G#)
Dm (D-F-A)
F#7 (F#-A#-C#-E)
E7 (E-G#-B-D)
Okay, now here is the chart. I'm giving you the chords only for the verse and the chorus. You will play the chords with the right hand and the root of each chord (bass note) with the left hand. I have not included the melody. You will sing that! This is an accompaniment lesson.
