Hello
This issue of eNotes contains a lesson on how to voice a major chord, outside of the traditional triadic harmony. It's not that hard to do, can be used on all major chords and is a terrific way to end a song!
Here is your audio mini-lesson.

Also, on February 28th, Saturday, at 10AM - 1PM, I will be teaching a class at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education in Cambridge, MA called "Playing With Style". Using the text of "Playing with Style", you will learn many different accompaniment techniques for playing jazz, broadway, blues and uptempo pop tunes. Every student will play on their own keyboard too!
To register, to the following link. I think there are a few spots still open.

That's it for today. Have a good one and Happy Valentines Day! I will try to send out a lead sheet for a love song before the 14th, in the holiday tradition. What's love without music afterall?
Yours truly,
Debbie
